Let me start off by saying everything about this session was perfect, the locations were perfect, the sunrise was perfect, and more importantly the mama-to-be was perfect and glowing. This is the first non four legged baby for Amanda and Brett and they are so excited. I have known Amanda since she was in grade school. She graduated in my little brothers class we attended the same church and participated in the same youth group. She did Drama with my sister was a cheerleader and an all around fun person which she most definitely still is. She found herself the perfect match in her husband as he seems just as fun loving as Amanda.
I took my tiny little assistant and traveled up to Jacksonville while my boys had a boys day. I was very much looking forward to doing a sunrise session as they are my favorite to watch and sometimes it is so hard to get up early enough to see them. I don’t feel like it took much convincing to get Amanda and Brett onboard with the idea. We went to 2 different beaches Little Talbot and Big Talbot, one which was perfect for catching the sunrise. The other had some pretty awesome drift wood, I wish that Big Talbot beach was closer to Orlando because I would highly suggest it for many different sessions. Amanda and Brett brought along their four legged children Gizmo and Montie and be braved the chilly morning for what turned out to be one of my favorite sessions so far. Amanda was 33 weeks pregnant, with the cutest baby bump. She is definitely all baby. I can not wait to see pictures and hopefully get to meet their sweet little girl after she makes her presence known (is it May yet 😉 ). I can tell she is one very loved little girl already!
I had trouble narrowing down the pictures I wanted to spotlight so I did a lot Enjoy!!!!
It is hard to believe in just a few short days this pretty girl will be turning 9 months. Time needs to slow down. I have been photographing her family since right before she was born and I have loved watching her grow up so far. Talia was having a rough morning the day we did her milestone pictures but we were able to get some good pictures out of her. The way to this girls heart like anyone is through her stomach so if the cookie is what she wanted the cookie is what she got. Normally anytime we are together this girl is full of smiles so I knew she wasn’t feeling great when none of my usual tricks were working.
It was so great to be able to capture her big brother in a couple of the pictures because you can tell she adores him and just wants to play all the time with him. It was also cool to get pictures of Talia with her mommy’s god mother who was in town for a visit. She is definitely one very loved little girl!
I was beyond excited for my friend Julia and her husband Lee when they announced that they were expecting a little boy! I wasn’t in town when they had their little girl Kennedy so it is fun to be in town for Ronin. I was extra excited and honored when she asked if I would do a fresh 48 for her little family. Ronin is just the cutest thing in the world and he has 3 of the best big sisters. One of which was at the hospital too meet him. Kennedy is just the cutest and already such a great big sister. She is planning on teaching him all the fun things! Here are a few of my favorite from their session plus a little film that I put together for them!
I got to meet Marie through another mom friend and we became fast friends. She is the sweetest mom raising two very awesome human beings! Hudson and Gemma are two of the cutests kids. We did valentine’s day pictures back in February and Gemma didn’t want anything to do with me or my camera and this time we were able to capture her super cuteness. And we ended the night checking on the ducks in the water!
First off can we talk about how adorable this little family is. Big brother Jack greeted me immediately when I came into their home and he was just the sweetest. There there is Whitney and Nicholas such a sweet couple. This sweet little man Mayson he was just so perfect and you can tell he is already use to his big brother. Whitney came to me by way of a past client/friend/teacher and I am so thankful she sent her my way. It is always fun to meet new people especially during such a special time as bringing a new member into the family. I was so excited to be able to provide Whitney with a short film of their session also I am telling you guys I am loving these films as much as you are because I wish I had captured more of these moments with my own kids. Here is a shorten film from her session along with some of my favorites from their session. Boy were there a lot to choose from.
Let’s just talk about this Fresh 48 session. Nicole allowed me to come in after Baby Ella came out of the NICU. Nicole was my lucky mom who was the first to receive a film with her Fresh 48 session and let me tell you we have all melted over the film of baby Ella with her little cries and her sweet little noises that they make. Baby Ella was a few weeks early but she was a sweet 6lbs 8ozs with a head full of hair. I am always jealous of those sweet babies that come out with a head full of hair.
Here is a short film from her session along with some of my favorite images from her session!
How fun is it when you can sit down and do a session with your cousins especially when the cousins range from 3 months to 5 years old. This was a fun little challenge for me but it reminded me a lot of my family. When ever we get together we try to do a grandkids sessions and the last time that had 10 kids ranging in age of 9 months to 12 years.
Baby V and Luke are so lucky to be so close in age and so close together and then the girl are all so close in age also. It is fun that they all live so close together and get to grow up together.
So I have been keeping a secret a kind of big secret. My sister was pregnant with her 5th little cutie. What makes her story a special one that she is doing this while her husband is on the other side of the world serving our country. Some might call her crazy I may have a couple of times but she is also a superhero. All military spouses are superheros. They may not be the ones fighting in the wars but they are serving our country right here by holding down the fort taking care of the family making sure that everything goes on while their other half is not there. Christina is doing all this while growing my 12th Niece. That is right I have 6 nephews and now I have 6 nieces. She did a road trip this summer with my parents and came out to visit my family and while they were out here we did a quick session down by the river. Here are a few of my favorites from the session! We also did some pictures for my niece Paige’s 8th birthday!
I was so excited when Cassie got a hold of me and wanted to do a session with just her and Bryan. Couple’s alone usually are not my thing but I am starting to find that I love doing these sessions. We as couples the longer we are married and the more children we add to our brew we need to remember where it all started. Just 2 humans who fell in love and decided to dedicate their lives to each other. I had so much fun walking around the arts district of Downtown Phoenix. This area is a spot that has really been built up over the last 6 years because I don’t remember any of it when I was working downtown. I have now fallen in love with this area. It screams couples and seniors and I am excited to see what it will be like when I take families down there. There is just so many ways to capture an urban feel! Here are just some of my favorites from their session and well there are a lot it was hard to narrow it down! Enjoy!
