Papago Park: White Bump To Baby!

I love when I get to capture a journey for a family and adding a member to your family is quite a journey for sure! Some of the perks to having the same photographer as your Maternity and Newborn photographer, you get to know me as a photographer before I come into your home to capture those Newborn Photos. The second is that usually you will receive a discount by booking both at the same time!

I was so happy and excited when Breanna contacted me back on Black Friday and asked if I would capture her maternity and then little mans newborn pictures. I loved every minute of it. I got to meet Breanna, Tony, and Waylon in April for Breanna’s maternity session and I instantly knew I was going to like this family. They were so much fun and Waylon is the cutest 2 year old out there! I can not imagine being pregnant and having a baby during a pandemic but Breanna seemed to take everything in strides. She worked with me as we worked through the uncertain times of whether we could do her maternity session. In the end it all worked out!

I was so excited when she messaged me right before Memorial Day weekend and let me know that baby Weston had come Earth side! I was so excited to meet Mr. Weston and to see Breanna, Tony, and Waylon again. I knew that their newborn session would be fun and it did not disappointed we even brought out the dinosaurs!

Veteran’s Oasis Park: Miller Maternity

What can I say this family is absolutely gorgeous and Bri was so cute one would think she was happy even when she wasn’t. I was beyond excited when Lauren contacted me back in November to capture some family and maternity pictures for her. She was was my first session of 2020 and it was the best way to kick off a year that I am sure will be a great year. I have known Lauren and Brendan for a few years, she is the absolute cutest pregnant mama. It takes a lot of work to grow a human while chasing around a toddler but she does it so well. Here are just a few of my favorites from their session!!!

Gilbert Newborn: Meet Baby Noah

It was so fun getting to know Patrick and Jennifer during their maternity session and I was beyond excited when Jennifer said that they also wanted to add a newborn session on. I love capturing everything from bump to baby. Jennifer was a beautiful pregnant mama but she is most definitely glowing now that Noah is here. She and Patrick are such sweet parents and you can tell that Noah has them wrapped around his little finger which is exactly where they belong. I loved getting to come to their home and capturing little Noah. He was just barely 2 weeks old but really had a fear of missing out and stayed awake for most of the session. I have a lot that are my favorites from my session I had a hard time narrowing it down. I also am including a shorten version of their film.

Apache Junction: Meek Newborn Twins

I was very excited and nervous at the same time as the Meek Twins were my very first set of twins. Lyncoln and Lyla were so cute but definitely a different challenge. They kept mom and I laughing though as we would get one calmed down and the other would get upset but in the end I think we were able to get some pictures that mom and dad can look back on and enjoy. We were also able to do a film for this session and I am so excited that I am able to offer these to my newborn and fresh48 clients. Here are some of my favorites plus her film.

I was beyond excited for my friend Julia and her husband Lee when they announced that they were expecting a little boy! I wasn’t in town when they had their little girl Kennedy so it is fun to be in town for Ronin. I was extra excited and honored when she asked if I would do a fresh 48 for her little family. Ronin is just the cutest thing in the world and he has 3 of the best big sisters. One of which was at the hospital too meet him. Kennedy is just the cutest and already such a great big sister. She is planning on teaching him all the fun things! Here are a few of my favorite from their session plus a little film that I put together for them!

Fresh48: Meet Baby Ella

Let’s just talk about this Fresh 48 session. Nicole allowed me to come in after Baby Ella came out of the NICU. Nicole was my lucky mom who was the first to receive a film with her Fresh 48 session and let me tell you we have all melted over the film of baby Ella with her little cries and her sweet little noises that they make. Baby Ella was a few weeks early but she was a sweet 6lbs 8ozs with a head full of hair. I am always jealous of those sweet babies that come out with a head full of hair.

Fresh 48: Baby Bryson

I was so excited about this fresh 48 session. I use to work with Mama Cassie back in my TV days so it was so good to hear from her and the exciting news that she was expecting her second child a baby boy. She had talked about wanting to do something a little different this time and liked the idea of a fresh 48 session.

We planned the session around when her daughter would get to come see her baby brother for the first time. As a mama of 2 I know that you never know how this meeting is going to go. Avery wasn’t quite sure at first really it was mostly about wanting to see mommy which is completely understandable. We were able to capture some touching moments though and as I have said before Fresh 48 is one of my favorite sessions. There is something so special about the first 48 hours of a baby’s life. Here are a few of my favorites of Baby Bryson (just barely 6 hours old) and his family!!!

Newborn: Baby Walter

Let’s talk newborns I mean are they just not the sweetest little people around? I am always super jealous of the ones with a ton of hair though I know what mama had to go through with the heartburn.

Let me introduce you to a little man who has the best head of hair! His name is Walter and isn’t he just the cutest thing around? All that hair and his parents are the sweetest. Dallas works with my husband and back when my husband and I first moved to the valley we rented a house with Dallas boy was that a while ago. Since then both have married and settled down and have now started families of their own. Dallas’s sweet wife Robbin has become a friend of mine and so I was so beyond excited when she asked if I would come and take Walter’s Newborn pictures. We had so much fun. Thank you Dallas and Robbin and I can’t wait for more snuggle times with baby Walter.

Fresh 48:| Baby Kase Just a few hours old

Oh my goodness look at this sweet little man. I was so happy to be able to head to Banner Desert and capture this little man when he was just 1 day old. There is just something about a new baby that makes my heart smile. It was the perfect time when I arrived it was just mom, dad, and baby Kase so we were able to capture sometime with just mom and dad. Then after a little bit Grandma brought up big brother Asher who as you would assume was already in love with his new little brother. It was so fun to be able to include grandma in this session as well.

This time in a newborns life is the most precious time in a newborns life and I am so grateful for Jordyn and Drew for letting me come capture this special moment. Here are just a few more from this extremely sweet session.

Newborn: Baby Brianna

I love newborn sessions, but this one was extra special to me. Andrew and Katie are some dear friends. They came to visit us in the hospital when we had our oldest, then when they had their oldest we had moved away. So even though I didn’t get to actually go to the hospital for their second I was able to capture her newborn pictures.

I love newborn lifestyle, it is a more relaxing setting and you don’t have to leave your home. You also only need to have one or 2 rooms in the home picture ready which takes a little pressure off the new mom. Especially since one of those rooms is usually the nursery.
