Curry Family Mini

I have to quickly say that the Hensel Phelps company is a wonderful company and I am so happy that my husband and our family gets to be a part of this wonderful company and family.  Here is another Hensel Phelps family and what a sweet family they were.   Their girls Elana and Emma were just the cutest.  I have learned with my two that this age is the hardest to get everyone to look in the same direction at the same time, but the girls did a wonderful job.

We headed out to Twin Oaks Conservation area, Inedelmis asked about a Christmas setting, so I brought some ornaments and we were able to find a little pine tree to hang them and on and I think it made for a great back drop and the girls loved playing with the ornaments.  This was a little later in the morning so the sun was kind of harsh and not a lot of shade at this park but I think that we were able to get some great pictures anyways.  Thank you again Curry family for letting me work for you and hope that I get to work for you more in the future!

Barrett Family Mini

How cute is this family of 3.  As usual I always love to meet new families.  The Barrett family is another wonderful Hensel Phelps family.  I always feel like when I come across a HP family I feel like we could be come instant friends because they know exactly what life is like especially one who is on the same project as my husband.

For the Barrett’s mini session we went up to Lake Baldwin Park which was the perfect setting for this family session.  Logan was just the cutest and he worked for M&M’s ssshhh don’t tell Logan but I sometimes work for M&Ms too!  We had fun seeing the airplanes flying over head and check to see if there were any alligators in the water.  We had so much fun getting some great shots of this family and I hope to get to work with them again in the future.

Dillman Holiday Mini

So I have been a little behind on blogging with the Holiday’s.  The Holiday’s kind of swept in really quick and with sessions and family time we got super busy, but now that the holiday’s and travel are done for a bit it is time to catch up on the blog.

We will start out with the Dillman family.  Jacqueline Dillman and her son Ryan along with her Dad met up at to do some fall pictures.  Ryan is a spit fire which isn’t a bad thing.  He was on the go and loving playing in the dirt and the leaves just like any little boy wants to do.  We were able to get some good pictures.  He especially liked when we would have him run.  Jacqueline is pregnant with her rainbow baby so we thought it would be fun to also get some fun pictures with her and Ryan.  Over all I say with a 2-year-old it was a success!

BFY Colton 9 Months

Wow little boy you need to slow down it is hard to believe that you are 9 months almost 10 months already.  You are getting way to big way to fast I love getting to watch you grow up.  The fact that we are closer is making it even better.  Colton is another little one that I have gotten to take pictures of since he was a newborn.  Both of us have grown so much in the last 9 months and still have a lot of growing yet to do.  It is hard to believe the next time I photograph him, he will be a year which is crazy to me.  He is one of the most handsome boys I know but I might be a little biases since he is my nephew.

We decided to try some pictures in side with a rocker that is my parents and I believe came from one of my grandparents houses I believe my moms parents.  Anyways my parents have a beautiful fireplace so it worked perfect for the setting.  We then headed out because it was a beautiful warm November day.  The leave have started to change colors and fall so it was the perfect fall setting and Colton loved just crawling every where.  I am sad your first year is almost over but we have all enjoyed every minute of it so far!

Smith Family Kiddos

So I took a trip home to Indiana a couple of weeks ago and it was such a wonderful trip full of a lot of cute kiddos and fun colors.  Since I knew that I was going to be home I decided to see if anyone wanted to do pictures while I was there because I knew it would be perfect with all the colors and Theresa volunteered her kids.  I tried getting the whole family in front of the camera but no such luck.  They have the best kids around there are 7 of them, Madison, Mackenzie, Jackson, William, Alex, Hayden, and we can’t forget little Isabela!  I have know there mommy since High School she was a thrower on the Track Team my dad was the head coach for and then for a year we were on the same team when I was a freshman and she was a Senior.  That was the year we were really good probably because of the awesome Freshman class ;).

We did our mini session over at the home of Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln Boyhood National Park.  I love go on walks there!  There is even a working farm during the summer season.  The leaves were perfect.  They changed colors just as I had asked them too and many had fallen on the ground just as I had asked them to lol so thank you trees for following directions.  The session was perfect and the kids did awesome and I heard there was Ice Cream after!  Here are a few of the shots from their beautiful fall session.  Enjoy and thank you Smith kids for hanging out with me!

Lui Family Mini Holiday

Had so much with the Lui family at a lake near their home.  There were lots of trees and open space and a beautiful lake to use as a backdrops for their holiday mini session.  I always have so much fun with the Lui family especially their little boy Kaiden because you never know what you are going to get.  He is such a fun-loving little and his little sister Talia knows that she has him wrapped around her little finger.  She loves to watch whatever it is that he is doing which sometimes made it had to get a good shot of her facing the camera.

The Lui’s are a Hensel Phelps family, I like to consider them family.  When you move around as much as we do sometimes it is hard to make friends outside of the HP circle.  It doesn’t mean it can’t happen I have managed to make some wonderful friends everywhere we have moved but these guys really know what we are going through and sometimes like us we have lived in the same city multiple times so whenever we have to say bye to an HP family it is never bye it is always see you later because you never know when your paths are going to cross again and the Lui family is one that I am glad our paths crossed again and I hope that they continue to keep crossing.  Thank you Lui family for entertaining me for a half hour and for being such wonderful friends!

Talia Baby’s First Year 4 months

Oh goodness Miss Talia is 4 months old it is just hard to believe.  I was photographing this girl before she was born.  She will be my first and only baby so far that I will get to photograph from maternity to 1 year that is as long as her family stays in Central Florida I know I am doing my best to keep them here because they have a special place in my heart.  This family has been around the world and back and I love that we are in the same area once again.

Miss Talia was the perfect little girl for pictures.  I love when I can get a good smile out of her though she usually only gives me those when I don’t have the camera around go figure right.  We got to do the caterpillar again this shoot and we will somehow use it in her next 2 sessions also as this little guy has special meaning.  He traveled all the way from Israel where her family lived for the last couple of years.  I can’t wait to continue to watch her grow and get snuggle time in where I can get them!!

Above and Beyond Equestrian Barn Show

So I know it has been a little bit since the last time I have blogged and over the next week or so I will be blogging a lot as I catch up on all the Holiday Sessions I have been doing.  This has been a busy fall for me and part of that was a Barn Show I was asked if I would be the photographer for.  The owner of Above and Beyond Equestrian asked if I would want to be the photographer for her barn show and I said yes.  Now after I said yes I began to get very nervous and kept second guessing myself on whether or not I really should have said yes.  I mean I had never done a horse show before and I know everyone has to start somewhere and I didn’t want to screw it up for her.  After much back and forth with myself and my friend Amber’s encouragement I decided this was going to be great.

Let me tell you I had such a blast!!  It was kind of right up there with what I love to capture.  Being a video journalist I love capturing the action as it happens which is probably why I loved getting to shoot Friday Night football so much.  Here are a couple of collages of pictures taken from the horse show!  Thank you again Stacy Glazeski for having me out to your barn I can’t wait to work with you and your riders again!
