Lost Dutchman Pass: Brock Family

I can’t speak for Tiffany but for me she has become a fast new friend.  We meet I would say a few months after we moved back to the valley and I think we became instant friends (mean who knows she probably thinks I am crazy most do lol).  Kate and Taylor have become fast friends they ask if each other are going to be at play dates.

Tiffany is a fellow photographer and lets just say shooting a fellow photographer is intimidating and the best all at the same time.   I think sometimes photographers make fellow photographers jobs so easy especially when you find the one that meets you needs and meshes with you.  Tiffany and I have what I feel are similar styles.  Kate is a ham she made this session so easy.  And Joel was also well behaved and cooperative.  Anyways I think I have gone on long enough about this family so here are some fabulous pictures.brock_family_mini_blog-2brock_family_mini_blog-3brock_family_mini_blog-4brock_family_mini_blog-5brock_family_mini_blog-6brock_family_mini_blog-7brock_family_mini_blog-8brock_family_mini_blog-9brock_family_mini_blog-10brock_family_mini_blog-11brock_family_mini_blog-12brock_family_mini_blog-13brock_family_mini_blog-14brock_family_mini_blog-15

Taylor Turned 5

I should have done this blog a while ago since she has now been 5 for 2 months. I think I am still in denial that my baby is 5 years old and in Kindergarten.  So none the less here it is I guess better late than never.  We headed over to Nichols Park to catch a pretty sunset and to also have a little green going on now that we live in the desert.

This little girl has been through quite a few moves in her time on this earth but we are so thankful to have been able to give her the experiences that she has had.  In the last year she started preschool, she spent a lot of time at the happiest place on earth, and she has become quite the little model.  When we went to do her pictures we were quickly running out of light but this girl just wanted to keep going.  The sun was gone and the light was leaving us quickly but Taylor in all her optimism wanted to keep going there was still light.  Well here are just a few of my favorite from her 5 year session.

Family Session:| Kirsch family Riparian Reserve at Water Ranch

What a nice night with the Kirsch family.  We had a nice sunset at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch.  The nice sunset and Kayla’s pretty blue dress helped to make her Sunset hair standout.

I am so happy that I have gotten to know Kayla as a friend and miss Bailey has quickly become one of my kids favorites.  We are going to miss them when they move back to Florida.

Family: Nunez Family Session at Scorpion Gulch

I was so excited to take the Nunez family pictures.  I was contacted by Kim Nunez about capture some pictures of her grand kids.  I was excited because one of her grand kids I had known from when I attended her church 5 years ago.

Jessie and Joey and their children were so much fun.  Ellie was definitely the star of the show, and I could not believe how much Gunner had grown over the years I remember him as this cute little 5 year old and now he is a handsome 9 year-old.  We headed to Scorpion Gulch and it was an excellent back drop for their family session.  There were just so many different places that we could capture their pictures.  Family sessions are always so much fun, working with little ones is my favorite!

Mommy & Me: Huyett Ladies

I am super lucky to have these ladies in my life.  They entered it 5 years ago when we purchased our first home.  They are our neighbors and good friends.

I was so excited to take the ladies out to capture some pictures for Janel’s mother’s day gift.  We decided to head down to downtown Gilbert.  There was this one hallway that in particular that I wanted to find and it definitely worked for what we wanted!

Fresh 48: Why you want to do this session!

First off what is a Fresh 48 session you ask?  I get this question a lot.  With this session I come to you Hospital room, Birth Center, or Home with in the first 48 hours of birth.  This is usually done with in the first 12 hours and it is meant to capture the very newest moments in your life and your newborn’s life.  This can be used to help capture the moments when siblings, grandparents, and or Aunts and Uncles meet baby for the very first time.  It is meant to capture the first few hours of your newborn’s life without having your entire Labor and birth captured.

I am happy to announce that starting in August of 2018 I will start offering this service to all my clients.  Because of the fact that I would need to be on call for these type of sessions I will only be taking a limited few of these specific sessions.  I am so very excited about these sessions.  There is just something about the newborn smell and just the everything about those first 24 to 48 hours of a baby’s life that makes me walk away thinking about adding another.

The Hays Family

I had so much fun with the Hay’s family.  They were my very last family in Florida.  Madison is just the cutest and reminds me of my own daughter spunky.  And Austin is seems a bit shy but full of a lot of energy.  We had such a great time at Lake Runnymede Conservation area.  That had to be by far my favorite place to shoot in Florida. I love the moss hanging from the trees!

The Magill Bunch

It is always so much fun when I get together with my sister and I love when she asks me to update their family pictures.  The kids are getting way to big but they sure are cute.  We had so much fun going over to the park by my parents house to capture some family pictures.  They are a pretty easy group to work with full of a bunch of cheezers.  They are always so much fun which comes out in all of their pictures so enjoy!!

The Burish Clan

So I am back to blogging now that we are through the busy season and I have made it through the move from Florida to Arizona so I will be spending the next couple of weeks catching up on Blogs.  First up the Burish Clan.

This clan is one of my favorites and this session was just so much fun.  Katie asked me if I could meet them at the park and also grab some pictures from the t-ball game 2 of the kids were playing in.  This just made my day because I love a good documentary/lifestyle session and that is what this turned out to be!  The last time we did pictures the kiddos were like who are you I am not sure I will smile or sit still for you.  Well it was still super hard to get one solid picture of all four kiddos but they were Definitely not shy this time.
