Lincoln Boyhood National Park: Dillman Family

I have known Jackie for a long time.  Her dad taught at the same high school my parents taught and worked at.  Her dad also coached track with my dad so we spent a lot of times as kids together.  The last time I did pictures with them was when she was pregnant with Phoebe so this session was a long time in the making.  Her munchkins are full of so much energy but I had fun chasing them around and they definitely helped me get my work out in but I was so happy I could capture this moment in life for her.

Phon D & Coon Bluff: Naderi Maternity

Meet the Naderi family, they are expecting another boy and are so very excited about it!  You can already tell that Aiden is going to be a good big brother.  It was so much fun getting to know Naderi and her family.  I hope that the transition from a family of 3 to a family of 4 goes smoothly.

Veteran’s Oasis Park: Tribble Family

Lets talk about the Tribble family and how fun they are!  Ed and I have known each other from our days at channel 12.  It was so nice to see a familiar face when I took my daughter to Preschool one day and I saw Ed there dropping off his boys.  Then fast forward to this past year and Ed’s youngest boy and my son Kyle were in the same class.  It was so nice to see him and to finally meet his sweet wife.  I was so excited when Ed came up to me one day at school and asked if we could do a mini session.  We happen to schedule it on the hottest day of the year so far but the kiddos did a fantastic job and we were still able to capture some beautiful images for them!  One of my favorite photos that I needed or wanted to include was the funny outtake it was how we ended our fun session!

Usery Regional Mountain: Bauer Family

I had so much fun in the desert with Morgan, Adam, and Aiden!  Morgan let me take control of all of their session even helping them decided what to wear.  It was so fun going through Morgan’s closet because I always love what she is wearing so I knew that she would have all kinds of things to choose from.  The harder ones were actually the boys so I sat down and basically shopped for her on H&M’s website and we were able to decided what the boys were going to wear and I feel like it all came together so nice.   Their session was one of my hour sessions so we were able to concentrate on Aiden and full family shots and then we were able to get a lot of couples pictures at the end.

Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area: Haldiman Boys

It was so fun hanging with Kelsey, Strat, and Percy!  Percy just turned one so to celebrate we did pictures.  We got to hang out in nature in the middle of the city.  There is this cool place in downtown Phoenix called Rio Salado Habitat Restoration and the Strat thought it was cool because we found some butterflies.  It was so fun to get Kelsey in on the photo taking fun too!  I am loving watching these boys grow up they are both the best little guys!

Nichols Park: Valentine’s Day Minis!

2019 is going to be great year I just know it. And to kick off 2019 I held a morning of Valentine’s Day Minis and I had some of the cutest kiddos come out for it! I had 4 families participate and I think we had a lot of fun. For a few it was their first Valentine’s Day.

Taylor Turned 5

I should have done this blog a while ago since she has now been 5 for 2 months. I think I am still in denial that my baby is 5 years old and in Kindergarten.  So none the less here it is I guess better late than never.  We headed over to Nichols Park to catch a pretty sunset and to also have a little green going on now that we live in the desert.

This little girl has been through quite a few moves in her time on this earth but we are so thankful to have been able to give her the experiences that she has had.  In the last year she started preschool, she spent a lot of time at the happiest place on earth, and she has become quite the little model.  When we went to do her pictures we were quickly running out of light but this girl just wanted to keep going.  The sun was gone and the light was leaving us quickly but Taylor in all her optimism wanted to keep going there was still light.  Well here are just a few of my favorite from her 5 year session.

Family Session:| Kirsch family Riparian Reserve at Water Ranch

What a nice night with the Kirsch family.  We had a nice sunset at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch.  The nice sunset and Kayla’s pretty blue dress helped to make her Sunset hair standout.

I am so happy that I have gotten to know Kayla as a friend and miss Bailey has quickly become one of my kids favorites.  We are going to miss them when they move back to Florida.

Family: Nunez Family Session at Scorpion Gulch

I was so excited to take the Nunez family pictures.  I was contacted by Kim Nunez about capture some pictures of her grand kids.  I was excited because one of her grand kids I had known from when I attended her church 5 years ago.

Jessie and Joey and their children were so much fun.  Ellie was definitely the star of the show, and I could not believe how much Gunner had grown over the years I remember him as this cute little 5 year old and now he is a handsome 9 year-old.  We headed to Scorpion Gulch and it was an excellent back drop for their family session.  There were just so many different places that we could capture their pictures.  Family sessions are always so much fun, working with little ones is my favorite!

Fresh 48: Why you want to do this session!

First off what is a Fresh 48 session you ask?  I get this question a lot.  With this session I come to you Hospital room, Birth Center, or Home with in the first 48 hours of birth.  This is usually done with in the first 12 hours and it is meant to capture the very newest moments in your life and your newborn’s life.  This can be used to help capture the moments when siblings, grandparents, and or Aunts and Uncles meet baby for the very first time.  It is meant to capture the first few hours of your newborn’s life without having your entire Labor and birth captured.

I am happy to announce that starting in August of 2018 I will start offering this service to all my clients.  Because of the fact that I would need to be on call for these type of sessions I will only be taking a limited few of these specific sessions.  I am so very excited about these sessions.  There is just something about the newborn smell and just the everything about those first 24 to 48 hours of a baby’s life that makes me walk away thinking about adding another.
